It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Evelyn Necessary in Bristol, Virginia, born in War, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Altizer and Rozinel M. Altizer; her husband Kenneth W. Necessary, Sr.; her daughters, Jennifer Elaine Necessary and Joni N. Lamie; and her siblings, John, Don, Tommy, Bill Altizer, Ginny Smallwood and Francis Galante.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Necessary, Kenneth W. "Gus" Necessary, Jr. (Kandis) and Lana M. Harrison (Joe); her sister Shelva Jeanne Ruszin; her grandchildren, Walker Necessary, Rebecca Pearson, Hunter and Tyler Harrison; and her great grandchild Grace Pearson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
