She is survived by: her children, Theresa Ann Carter of Stafford, VA, Sharon Newton of Bristol, VA, Anna Carter of Bristol, TN, Sandy Daggs (Todd) of Bristol, TN, Linda Charles of Woodbridge, VA, Brenda Bunche (Ricky) of Bristol, TN, Deborah Carter, Sonny Carter (Angie) of Bristol, TN, Michael Carter, William Johnson of Aurora, CO and Rufus Carter (Dee) of Concord, NC; and her daughter-in-law Jimmie Lou Carter of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lee Street Baptist Church (1 W Mary St, Bristol, VA 24201).
