He is survived by: his wife Retha Parks Wilson; his children, Sarah Wilson of Charleston, SC and Fred Wilson of Franklin, NC; his stepchildren, Michael Smythe, Russell Smythe and Marlena Smythe; his nephew Ricky Berry; his grandson Adam Wilson (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Avery and Jameson Wilson; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Smythe, Jaden Smythe, Brooklyn Smythe, Katie Smythe, Isabella Smythe and Colton Smythe; his stepgreat-granddaughter Noella Rose Smythe; his sister Linda L. Wilson; the mother of his children Sandra Hedden; and his pet Bootie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
