It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Kelly Greer Sr. (Bristol, Virginia), who passed away on April 15, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Dorothy "Dot" Blair; his wife Kathy Yates Greer; his children, Shannon Kent (Steve) of Bristol, Tenn. and Gene "Bro" Greer, Jr. (Ashley) of Bristol; his grandson Steve Avery Kent; his sister-in-law Lue "Nana" Rogers; and his nieces, Sandie Parrot and Tara Smith. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
