He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessee James Davis and Bessie McClain Davis; and his brothers, John Davis and Howard Davis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Davis; his children, Vickie Shuttle (Richard), Fred Davis Jr. (Linda) and Terry Davis (Janice Hall); his siblings, Lois Meade (Fred), Bob Davis (Faye), Shirley Davis, Joe Davis (Gloria) and Nelda Ray; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Walls, Vangie Musick, Mike Cook and Rolce Cook Jr.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
