With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Lee Handshoe of Bristol, Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Floyd "Shorty" Handshoe. He is survived by: his mother Ogie Fristeen Handshoe; his wife Lana K. Handshoe; his children, Heather Dawn Handshoe (Eric), Sonny Handshoe, Jr. (Amanda) and James Shawn Whitt; and his sisters, Peggy Burnette (Frank) and Rhoda Mae Snapp. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
