It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Gill of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Gill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Frazier and Alta Johnson Frazier; her husband Kenneth J. Gill; and her siblings, Laura Frazier, Betty Fortner, Louise Cox and Joe Frazier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Mumpower (Larry) of Bristol, VA., Kathy Fleenor (Mark) of Abingdon, VA. and Leslie Carrier (Todd) of Blountville, TN.; her grandchildren, Jason Mumpower, Kimberly Mumpower (Shawn Gobble), Sara Fleenor, Mason Carrier and Tyler Carrier; her siblings, Ralph Frazier, Ray Frazier (Hattie), Tommy Frazier (Bonnie), Roger Frazier (Thelma), Beck Statzer (Reece), Treva Barker (Howard), Dicie Dean and Stephanie Barton; and also, Shawn Gobble, Larry Webb and Willie Marshall.
Internment will be held privately. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Mumpower, Mark Fleenor, Todd Carrier, Woodrow "Rooster" Brewer, and Jason Mumpower. Honorary pallbearers will be Sue's nephews, Shawn Gobble, Larry Webb, and Willie Marshall. In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, all those attending services are asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
