Elsie Reid Griffin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Elsie Reid Griffin of Bristol, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walter Wright; her husband Jiles Griffin; her daughter Janet Clayton; and her siblings, W. A. Wright, James Wright, Willie Mae Wright, Kay Gibson, Mary Brazzil and Doris Price.
She is survived by: her son Robert Sutton (Bonnie); her sister Joyce Eagle; her niece Cindy Eagle; and her family, Melissa, Elijah, Savannah, Victoria and Emery. She is also survived by five grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Elsie.
