He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hackney and Jane Scarberry Hackney; his children, Lacy Randall Hackney and Judy Hackney Poore; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Atwood and Tom Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Hackney; his sons, Kenneth Hackney and Tony Hackney; his grandchildren, Jeff Poore, Jr. (Shonda), Joshua Hackney, Wade Edwards (Kathryn) and Tammy Poore Rajotte (Chris); his sister-in-law June Ball; his nieces and nephews, Beverly Salyer (Arthur), Danny Atwood, Robert Dutton and Rebecca White (Rick); and also June. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
He attended Charity Pentecostal Church of Bristol, Tenn.
