He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cardwell Sr. and Evelyn Heath Cardwell; his brother Allen Wayne Cardwell; and his grandparents, Worley, Grace Cardwell, William and Annie Heath.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Cardwell; his children, Christie Cardwell Hayton (David) and Brian Cardwell (Jamie Rose) of Bristol; his siblings, Debra Cardwell Tuggle, Steve Cardwell (Lisa) and Jimmy Cardwell (Lori); his grandchildren, Halie Roberts, Loren AbdelMessih and Grayson Maverick Cardwell; his great grandchild Bradley Roberts; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by his family first and loved his kids and grandchildren.
