Brooks (Bristol, Virginia), born in Appalachia, Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Brooks; and her sisters, Virginia Anthony and Ann Maddox. She is survived by: her children, Charles Brooks (Jane) of Smithfield, VA, Lynn Klepper (Jim) and Ann Vanhook. She is also survived by five grandsons; seven great-grandsons; two great great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
