She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wendell and Margaret Gobble Flinchum; her husband Jack Vanhook, Sr.; her son-in-law Dennis Phillips; her sister Ida Adams; her siblings-in-law, Herbert Adams, Dot Hensley and Charlie Kilby; and her nieces, Sandi Sammons and Janet Mullinex.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Phillips and Jack Vanhook, Jr. (Sonia); her grandchildren, Heather Saine (Heath), Cody Phillips (Betty), Nicholas Vanhook, Robin Carpenter (Nathan) and Joseph Craig; her great grandchild Hadrian Saine; her sisters, Edith Phillips (Charles), Janette Anders (Cecil) and Pat Henley (Ken); her aunt Doris Flinchum; and her siblings-in-law, Violet Kilby and Herb Hensley.
