She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Viers and Sarah Alice Viers; her husband Bobby Turner; and her brothers, Fred Viers, Fayne Viers, Francis Viers and Johnny Viers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thurman Viers (Faye) of Surgoinsville, TN, Jeanette Drew of San Mateo, FL and Marie Wolford (Benny) of Grundy, VA; and her children, Donald Keith Cochran (Denise) of Christiansburg, VA, Johnny Wayne Turner (Jennifer) of Pound, VA, Larry Dean Turner (Patricia) of Wise, VA, Linda Alice Turner of Bristol, VA and James Robert Turner of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Camp Andrew. Donations can be sent to Antioch Baptist Church at 190 Salem Drive Bristol, VA 24201.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bristol Regional Medical Center for all the kind and compassionate care shown to Edna during her time of need.
