She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Bowman and Ella Sutherland Bowman; her husband Dudley Owens; her siblings, Gladys Sykes, Marie Clay, Ruby Holyfield, Constance Addington, Audrey Anderson, Cecil Bowman and Stanford Bowman; and her grandson Stephen Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Owens (Patsy) of Bristol, VA, Richard Owens (Carol) of Fayetteville, NC, Dennis Owens (Margaret) of Bedford, VA and Karen Morgan (Ken) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
