It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Carolyn Sybert (Bristol, Virginia), born in Mendota, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Preston and Bertie Moore McCracken; and her siblings, Robert McCracken, Ruby Poe and Edna Walden.
She is survived by: her children, Lester Sybert and Kimberly Gibson; her grandchildren, Diane Sybert and Sharleen Sybert; her great grandchildren, Brianna Hicks and Brayden Hewlett; her siblings, Ernest McCracken, Sandy, Billy McCracken, Pat, James McCracken (Evelyn), Betty Poe and Dorothy Ingle (Charlie); her close friend Gloria Striker; and also Gene Sybert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
