He was predeceased by: his father Harold Edward Wright Sr.; his brother Harold Wright Jr.; and his great grandchild Vincent Scott Heranney. He is survived by: his wife Renee Wright; his children, Heather Wright Heranney of Fall Branch, Tennessee, Jason Neil Wright of Coeburn, Joshua Douglas Wright of Castlewood and Hunter Edward Wright of Bristol, Virginia; his mother Julia Mae Wright of Castlewood, Virginia; and his siblings, Teresa Slemp of Castlewood, Virginia, Don Wright of Abingdon and Lee Wright of Castlewood, Virginia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Douglas Neil Wright will be conducted at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Scott Million officiating.
