She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mitchell and Mattie Lee Mitchell; her husband William Goad, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Elsie Goad and William Goad, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Ben Goad (Candy) and Anna Brown (Michael); her grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Brittany Malcolm (Jared), Lindsay Brown, Ben Goad, Aundrea Jones and Scott Thomas; her great grandchildren, Isabella Brown, Rhylan Jones and Brayden Jones; her sisters, Nancy Wise and Patty Yokum; her siblings-in-law, Dwight Goad (Sharon) and Barbara Vincill (Jerry); and her pets, Molly, Lucy and Butter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Dorothy.
