Deloris Ann Whitaker Obituary

Deloris Ann Whitaker, 64, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on Tuesday (February 1, 2022) following an extended illness. Deloris was born On August 5, 1957 in Bristol, VA to the late Jack & Mary Ann (Thompson) Musselwhite.

Deloris enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Ray Roark; daughter, Melissa Roark; and brother, Jackie Musselwhite.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Henry Whitaker; two daughters, Amanda Roark and Angela Whitaker; seven grandchildren, Katie Love, Braiden Cross, Daizy Cross, CJ Jones, Kyler Thayer, Ryder Thayer, and River Thayer; brother, Wes Musselwhite; sister, Kathy Musselwhite; "furry-friend", Bubbles; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Family and friends are invited to Blevins Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Sunday (February 6, 2021) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a Gathering of Remembrance.
