She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bobbie McCorkle Laney and Tommy Therrell, Sr.; her mother-in-law Lona Mae; her brothers-in-law, Roger Alan Hauk and Al Coggenshall; her stepmother B. J. Laney; her husband Johnny Sampson; her children, Amanda Sampson Nichols (Chris Chandler), Zachary Aaron Hunter Sampson and Ashley Hommell; her grandsons, Christopher Alan Sampson and Aaron Thomas Eugene Hegler; her siblings, Jeanie Coggeshall, Richard Laney (Donna), Tommy Therrell, Jr., Scott Therrell (Stephanie) and Christie Therrell Walker (Joshua); and her siblings-in-law, Danny T. Sampson, Jennifer Ryans (Jerry) and Cindy Herron (Jerry). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM.
She was a L.P.N. and hospice nurse for over thirty years dealing primarily with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients.
