He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Statzer (Fleenor) and Lee Statzer; and his siblings, Geraldine Brummett and James N. Statzer. He is survived by: his wife Lula Belle Frazier Statzer; his children, David W. Statzer (Terrie) of Jonesborough, TN, Jeffrey Statzer of Bristol, VA and Beverly Statzer of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Bailee Statzer and Tyler Statzer (Samantha); his sons, Bryson and Liam (Jarion); and his sister Linda Sue Hawkins (Glen) of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
