He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Hall and Lillie D. Elam Hall; his son Steven James Hall; his siblings, Willard, Fred, McCoy Hall and Irene Holloway; and his brother-in-law Steve Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ellen Meade Hall; his son David E. Hall, II (Christy); his grandson Jake Hall; his sisters, Jean White of Bristol, VA, Gladys Greer of Bristol, VA and Debbie Parker (David) of Bristol, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Purcell (Doug) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Peggy Lambert of Castlewood, VA and Lisa Robinson (John) of Castlewood, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
