He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poore; his son Darrell E. Poore (Tenn) of Johnson City; his fiancée Glenda Miller of Lawndale, N. C.; his siblings, Chester Poore (Betty) of Emory and Jackie Sproles (Bill) of Glade Spring; his granddaughters, Haley Shipley (Kevin) of Kingsport, Tenn and Holly Easterby (Ryan) of Alpharetta; his great grandchildren, Ried, Reese Easterby, Bo and Luke Shipley; and also Carl Cowan of Lynchburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
