He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Chapman; his children, Ray Chapman (Cherie Chapman) of Abingdon, VA and Rhonda Slagle (Tony Slagle) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Sarah Hutchinson (Blaine), Heather Smith (Austin), Ben Slagle (Samantha), Christy Mcgriff (Jim), Courtney Slagle (Brady), Corrie Slagle and Casey Sheffield (Mason); his children, Locklyn, Cheyenne, Ashlyn, Laine, Austin, Turner, Tay, Beckett, Tylee, Jordan, Olivia and Maysun; his great great grandchild Caden; and his siblings, Thurman Chapman (Dixie), Shirley Rosenbaum (William) and Patsy Gregg (Isaac). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
