She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murphy and Mamie Elizabeth Tester (Clara); her husband Charles Garnett Cox; and her siblings, Marie Harmon, Ruby Harless, Emma Daughtery, Kenneth Tester, John Tester and Stanley Tester.
She is survived by: her son Steve Cox (Karen); her grandchildren, Ashley Downs (Ken) and Colby Cox (Erington); her stepgrandson Bryan Runion (Tara); and her sisters, Peggy Smithson and Betty Clark (Teddy). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
