It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Goodson Worley of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Homer and Etta Elizabeth Haga Goodson; her husband Jack Carson Worley; and her son Ricky Lynn Worley. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Rene Bowman (Kenneth) and Tracey Dawn Worley; her siblings, Betty Canter (Charles), Ethe Reynolds (Garrnett) and Janice Poe (Joey); her grandchildren, Crystal Dawn Boyd (Albert) and Timmy Lynn Worley; and her great grandchildren, Abigail and Carson Boyd.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to Akard Funeral Home to help with Mrs. Worley's funeral expenses.
