It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Hawkins Sr. (Bristol, Virginia), born in Norton, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Hawkins and Edith Fleenor Hawkins; his siblings, Bob, Harold Hawkins, Kay Hawkins and Dorothy Mullins; and his grandson Keith Fleenor.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Duncan Hawkins; his children, Chuck Hawkins and Sheri Fleenor (Tim); his granddaughter Sarah Fleenor; his great grandchildren, Orion Fleenor, Sadie, Tobias Goodson, Nolee and Nevaeh Wheeler; and his brother Danny Hawkins (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
