He was predeceased by: his parents, James McChesney and Lula Hawkins McChesney; and his wife Mary Walker McChesney. He is survived by: his children, Marcia Norwood (Al), Joseph C. McChesney (Rhonda) and Lee McChesney (Robin). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
