He was predeceased by: his father Arnold D. Jessee; his wife Betty Ruth Perry Jessee; and his siblings, Irene Jessee Perry and A. D. "June" Jessee, Jr.. He is survived by: his granddaughter Pamela Ruth; his sister Sue Jessee Tiller of Honaker; his children, Carl "JJ" Jessee, Jr. (Bonnie Hird Jessee) of Waterford and Pamela Ruth Jessee Hill (Stan Hill) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Gabe Jessee (Michelle) of Richmond, Sage Jessee (Sandra) of Elkridge, Jecholia Jessee Galligher (Brian) of Waterford, Aaron Hill of Asheville, NC, Israel Hill (Clare) of Asheville, NC, Summer Hill Sharrett (Ben) of Bristol, Emily Hill Davis (Jonathan) of Abingdon, Rebekah Hill (Micah White) of Mint Hill, NC, Nathan Hill (Caitlin Rader) of Elizabethton, Tenn, Anna Kaye Hill of Asheville, NC and Abigail Hill (Eli Popoca) of Asheville, NC.; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Nora, Julia, Chloe, Grace, Leon, Silas, Oscar, Luke, Juliet, Natalie, Canyon, Madeline and Baylee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
