He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard and Edna Louise Mays Witt. He is survived by: his wife Janice Thomas Witt; and his siblings, Cindy Witt Dickenson (Richard) of Abingdon, VA and Paul Jeffrey Witt (Margaret) of Ashburn, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
