He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nelson and Peggy Rutledge Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Angie Nelson; his son Robert Nelson (Melissa); his grandchildren, Robbie Nelson, John Nelson and Sarah Nelson; his siblings, Jackie Nidiffer, Nancy Eaton, Ricky Nelson and Johnny Nelson; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Ottaline McCracken. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Angie Nelson to assist with funeral expenses.
