With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Jane Latture Sheffey (Bristol, Virginia), who passed away on June 23, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hamilton Latture and Otta Beatrice Sproles Brown; her grandparents, Otta Beatrice Sproles and William Henry Sproles; and also Wayne Allen Sheffey.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Rita Arlene Sheffey of Sandy Springs, Georgia; her sisters, Jackie Collins (Bruce) of Pasadena, Maryland, Chestalene Brown Myers of Blountville, Tennessee and Darlene Mullins of Blountville; her close friend Barbara Cox; and also, Dr. Thomas C. Rounds and Chestalene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
