She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold T. Elswick and Ruby Shelton Elswick; her sister Mavis E. Horton; and her nephew James "Tim" Elswick. She is survived by: her great-nephew Robert Nash (BJ); her great-nieces, Brooke Mulkey (Jason) and Amanda Crews (Brandon); her brother James "Jim" Elswick (Phyllis); her nieces, Karen Dyer (Jimmy), Leesa Lawson (Gary) and Teri Bannon (Jeff) of Salem, VA; and her nephew Todd Elswick.
