It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cleary of Bristol, Virginia, born in Randolph, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Hale Dunford and Willard Hale; her stepfather Roy Hale Sr.; and her brothers, Larry Cox, Junior Hale and Roy Hale Jr. Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Thomas Cleary; her children, Betty Marshall (Mike) of Swords Creek and Charlie Collins (Tracy) of St. Paul, Virginia; her siblings, Ronnie Hale (Beatrice) of Thomasville, Phyllis Hale (Jerry Cheek) of Cleveland and Alice Dolinger (Garney) of Gate City, Virginia; and her close friends, Pam Cox and Evonne James. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
