He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Poe and Rissie Haga Poe; and his brothers, David, Ray and Robert Poe.
He is survived by: his wife Alta Blaylock Poe; his children, Judy Williams (Marcus) of Blountville, TN, Janet Hicks of Bristol, VA, Ronnie Poe (Vickie) of Bristol, VA, Ricky Poe (Tammy) of Bristol, VA and Roger Poe (Emily) of Bristol, VA; his siblings, Ennis Wright of Mendota, VA, Evelene Arnold of Abingdon, VA, Pauline Bowman (Walter) of Bluff City, TN, Christine Hudler of Abingdon, VA, Shirley O'Hara (Mike) of Bluff City, TN and Earl Poe (Patsy) of Bristol, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Tonda Poe and Bernice Poe. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
