She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Short and Daisy Elizabeth Griffitts Short; and her brother Wayne Douglas Short of Tazewell, VA.. She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Tasha; and her grandchildren, Oliver and Lucy Claire.
