She was predeceased by: her parents, Elowese Adkins Silcox and William Silcox; and her siblings, Gloria Regon, Billy Silcox, William Harold Silcox, Charles Don Silcox and Richard Burton Silcox (Buddy).

She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Parris (Tom); her children, Jamie Parris of Freeville, NY and Stephen Parris (Leslie) of Bristol, VA; her grandchildren, Allana Parris of Jacksonville, NC and Ian Parris of Bristol, TN; and her friends, Melinda, Wes and Braden Rich of Knoxville, TN.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to West Hills Christian Church, 116 Elm St., Bristol, TN 37620.
