She was predeceased by: her father Ernest; and her sister Gwen Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Paul Petkus; her children, Nikki Chapman (Chris), Derek Averson and Josh Averson; and her close friends, Kyla Gaccione and Dave Davis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great grandchild.
