He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harvey and Carrie Dell Gilbert (Meade). He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Gilbert (Rust); and his children, Michael Gilbert (Tracey), David Gilbert (Kathleen), Carrie Jane Heath (Randy), Teresa Anne Kath (David) and Deborah Jo Loveall (Daniel). He is also survived by five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
