She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Ashby and Rosabell Ashby; her husband Charlie Hurley; her siblings, Jane Matney, Sarah Daugherty, Chet, Estel, Jessee, Johnny Ashby and Walter Ashby; and her great grandchild Madison Stapleton.
She is survived by: her children, Ileda Stapleton, Sue Bailey (Hassell), Kaye Cain (Billy), Lynn Walker (Alan), Steve Hurley (Rose), Paul Hurley (Lisha) and Mack Hurley (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Hope Thacker (Garrett), Stephanie Miller (David), Shauna Large (Kevin), Brian Stapleton, Allan Bailey (Leah), Ladonna Blankenship (Jake), Josh Hurley (Raeann), Amanda Pennington (Micheal), Dr. Amber Hurley McCulley (Justin), Emily Puckett (Matt), Kayla Gibbs (Bennett), Daniel Walker (Danielle), Chris and Coty. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
As a result of the COVID -19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
