She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Jackson Butler; and her sister Linda Elaine Fox. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Elizabeth Carpenter Hurlock (Anthony); her grandchildren, Alexis Faith Hurlock and Madeline Hope Hurlock; and her former husband John Thomas Carpenter, Jr. (Junior).
