She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Daniel and Beulah Belle Branum (Cromer); her spouse Lindbergh Hummel; her son Larry Lindbergh Hummel; her grandson Jude Blackburn; and her siblings, Charles Branum, Leo Branum, Dorothy Hall and Jinkie Kinkead.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Simmers (Ed) of Bridgewater and Steve Hummel of Harrisonburg; her brother Rodney Wayne Branum of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Eric Hummel, Stephanie Hummel, Shannon Hummel, Brooklyn Phillips, Shawna Hummel, Nina Hummel, Gunner Hummel and Stormy Hummel; and her stepgrandchildren, Kehris Ann Snead and Michelle Kyger. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, four granddogs, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Masks and social distancing is required at the service.
