It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steward Samuel Jordan of Bridgewater, Virginia, born in Mount Jackson, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jordan and Naomi Jordan (Crickenberger); his wife Wanda Wean Jordan; and his siblings, John Jordan and Barbara Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Miller (Tom) of Roanoke, Jo Ellen Bowman (Donnie) of Bridgewater, Lisa Shickel (David) of Montezuma and Stuart Jordan (Kim) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Daniel Bowman (Libby), Bryce Miller (Kelly), Turner Jordan, Molly Shickel, Emma Jordan and Sam Shickel; and his caregivers, Mandy A, Viv, Mandy C, Jean, Wanda, Liz and Janet.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Lukes Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 219 N Main Street, Bridgewater, VA 22812 or any Disabled Veterans Group.
