He was predeceased by: his parents, Worley M. Cheeks and Pearl Crusenberry Cheeks; and his wife Mary Jane Curtis. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Mary "Meg" Henline (Gary); his significant other Shirley Roop; and his children, Patricia Cheeks (Steve Weaver), Ann Cheeks, Kathryn Cheeks (Cole Stiteler) and Joseph Guzinski (Karen). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren from his first marriage.
