He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Lobdell (Simmons) and Sterle Kinkead; his wife Rosa Lee Kinkead (Berry); and his sons, James Howard Kinkead and Jerry Allen Kinkead.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Kinkead Neville (Ron) of Staunton, Richard Alexander Kinkead (Vickie) of Weyers Cave and Dennis Wayne Kinkead (Virginia) of Cross Junction, VA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Reed (Steve), Kelly O'Brien (Kyle), Aaron Lough (Denise), Billy Jo Kinkead (Cami), Matthew Kinkead (Jennifer), Ann Marie Kinkead, Alyssa Ganter (Matt) and Tanya Arnold (Steve). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
