With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Oliver Young Sr. (Bridgewater, Virginia), who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Madge. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Rich Young, Jr. (Barbara), Jean Young Kilby (Bill), Sally Young and Greg Young (Annie); and his grandchildren, Dr. Christina Kilby, Dr. Paul Stoddard, Marie Lunde, Sarah Daffron, Ian Young and Madeleine Young. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
