It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Allan Ungar of Bridgewater, Virginia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Ungar and Martha Ungar (Cooper); his wife Pamela Lynn Ungar (Klein); his sons, Eric Andrew Ungar of San Francisco, CA and Bryan David Ungar of Harrisonburg; his sister Barbara Ungar Krampf; and his sister-in-law Jackye Abbott. He was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews and cousins and life-long friends.

Donations in his memory may be given to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children, Pleasant View Homes, Blue Ridge Community College, and Beth El Congregation of Harrisonburg.
