He is survived by: his children, Monty Smith, Jr. (Brandi) of Timberville, Roger Smith, Monica of Grottoes and Tina Morris (Andy) of Grottoes; his stepdaughter Angela Fink of Old Fields, WV; and his siblings, Wanda May of Franklin, WV, Pauline Davis of Rio, WV, Edward Lee Smith, Sr. of Mt. Solon, Cecil Smith of Mathias and Bill Smith (Donna).
