She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Sadd (Brown) and Walter Charles Sadd; her daughter Cheri Dixon; and her sisters, Roberta Messamer and June Kline.
She is survived by: her husband John Layman; her children, Anita Akers (Gilmer) of Manassas and Lowell Layman (Slitra) of Ellaville, GA; her siblings, Joanne Eby of Fairfax and Hudson Sadd (Bonnie) of Manheim, PA; her grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, Larema (Christopher), Larissa, Grace and Faith; and her son-in-law Randy Dixon.
