She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Dora Steiding Schmidt; her spouse Rev. Glenn S. Garner; and her sisters, Marie Tasker, Mildred Nethken, Marian Gross, Wilda Fitzwater and Dolores Poling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Garner of Charlottesville and Karen Garner of Bentonville, Virginia.. She is also survived by her two daughters and by nieces and nephews.
