She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Winfred B. Mixon and Mildred Smith Mixon; her husband Richard Young; her children, Richard, Jr., Jean Kilby, Sally Young and Greg Young; and her grandchildren, Christie, Paul, Marie, Sarah, Ian and Madeleine. She was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
